Apple Cinnamon Waldorf Salad
A healthy spin on this delicious fruit and veggie filled classic. Savory with a sweet aspect, it’s a great way to introduce kids to salad!
Ingredients
- 3 medium apples, chopped
- 1 medium pear, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 cup red grapes, cut in half
- ½ cup sunflower seeds
- 1-1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt - may need bigger volume if the apples and pear are on the larger side
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Chop the apples, pear, and celery and put into a large bowl.
- Slice the grapes in half. Add to the bowl.
- Add sunflower seeds to the bowl.
- Make the dressing by combining yogurt and cinnamon in a smaller bowl .
- Pour dressing over salad and stir to combine.
- Chill until ready to eat.

- Try different fruits, including dried fruit such as raisins, that you have at home.
- Add ½ cup of walnuts for extra protein
